How long after painting walls is it safe to live in the apartment?
hi. I am moving into an apartment which is unfurnished so i’ll have to Paint the walls. I heard that if i paint the walls i can’t live there for like two months because there is methanol which comes off the paint and is really bad for your health. So my question is, how long after painting walls is it safe to live in that place? thanks.
You can move in almost immediately after the paint is dry. There’s really no time frame. Just leave the window open and the room will air out as you paint. You will smell fresh paint for approx.. a couple weeks after your done painting.
